Come check out the newly installed peace pole at the Sensory Garden in Wynnewood Valley Park! The peace pole project was started in Japan in 1955 in response to the bombings on Hiroshima and Nagasaki and is intended to spread the universal prayer message of “May Peace Prevail on Earth.” This prayer message is inscribed in various languages such as Japanese and Braille on the sides of the wooden peace poles, which are now found throughout the world. It is an honor to have a peace pole installed in the Sensory Garden.

Join Honored Guest, Rotary International Past President, Wilf Wilkinson, Rotarians, the Lower Merion Conservancy, and neighbors for a dedication ceremony of the newly installed Peace Pole.

Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Ardmore
