Counting the birds that live and breed in Lower Merion—an ongoing attempt to assess the health of our landscape—is a long-running Conservancy tradition.  Since migration is over, we again search for our resident nesting birds, especially key birds like woodland warblers and pileated woodpeckers.  After the search, we’ll discuss our findings over donuts and drinks.  All levels of birders are welcome; binoculars and field guides are recommended.  Meet at the Conservancy’s Cottage and then we’ll split up and head out to local hot spots to count!
