Winter Trek 2: Henry Gardens and Wilderness

Walking around the hillside and down through fields and into the woods of the Henry Botanic Garden, you may hear winter songbirds and see winter flowering fragrant witch hazels. You may also hear a red-tailed hawk high in the trees in response to such an intrusion into its hunting grounds, and perhaps even a fox or two, tho’ fox sightings have been infrequent this year. Wear appropriate hiking gear for rough, rocky, hilly and sometimes slippery terrain.  Walking sticks are recommended. Parking is very limited, so if you need a parking space, please call us at 610.525.2037 to reserve a spot. Meet in the circle outside the main Henry house.
