The Lower Merion Conservancy bids a bittersweet farewell this week to our Historic Preservation Coordinator, JulieAnn Murphy. JulieAnn will be heading west to be closer to her family in San Francisco, California. She joined our staff in 2013 just after completing her Master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania’s Historic Preservation program. JulieAnnserved as our key advocate in protecting the William Penn Inn as well as advancing the Ardmore Historic District. She also contributed significantly to developing our preservation advocacy approach over the past two years.
Executive Director Patty Thompson noted, “JulieAnn is an energetic and creative member of the staff. She contributed significantly to advancing Lower Merion and Narberth’s preservation front during her tenure with the Conservancy. We will miss her and wish her much success in her next adventure.”
JulieAnn shared that she, “Learned a great deal working for the Conservancy” and wishes the organization continued success as we venture into our 20th year.
