Trek 3: Riverbend Ramble

Hosted by: Riverbend Environmental Education Center

Saturday, February 7

10:00 am

Since 1974, Riverbend has been connecting children to the natural world through meaningful nature and science experiences. Each year more than 10,000 school children participate in Riverbend’s education programs both on our, 30-acre preserve and at schools and natural areas in our region. Join a Riverbend naturalist for a hike through our Alec Williamson Bird Obervation Area, past our forest restoration area (over 1,000 trees and shrubs have been planted in the past three years), and to the proposed site for an Aquaponics Greenhouse. Learn more about all of Riverbend’s programs and upcoming projects while enjoying our field, forest and stream ecosystems.

Meet at the Riverbend barn at the end of Spring Mill Rd.
